The world’s leading provider of intelligent information for businesses and professionals announced today the acquisition of operations in Argentina and Chile, Legal Publishing Group who is now controlled by private investment group Palm fund and whose brands include Abele do Parrot.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition supports the strategy of Thomson Reuters to develop better information and management software for business professionals worldwide. Legal Publishing Group provides information solutions to professionals in the legal market and taxation in Argentina and Chile through a set of leading brands.

Abele do Parrot, one of Argentina’s most prestigious legal publishing, has more than 3,000 degrees in its catalog, traditional legal journals Court Argentina, and the imprint Diploma.
