Internet World is helping entrepreneurs in business
Internet is a way to create business, and therefore a new framework for future professionals to undertake projects in the traditional labor market not only can not raise, and not only from Web design and programming, but many applications and functionalities that do not seem limitless.
From this undeniable reality, it seems that all we move to analyze how and in what way we can demonstrate our ability and ingenuity to develop ideas and projects that will lead us, using our criteria and using the facilities and services offered by Internet, to build models stable business and travel.
That’s when we are examples like Google, Facebook or less success stories and more international and local media where, at least so it seems, there is a “magic touch” of genius that allows us a niche in the business world’s elite get introduced into the market via the Internet a product or application unique and incomparable or sell our Portal or a multinational company that bought us a huge price.
It seems that today we no longer even good example of how Microsoft or Apple was born, everything has to be faster and immediate, of course: a large scale. This is where, in my opinion, it starts to fail, and that, among many others, one of the reasons for the high volatility of many Web companies and Internet are born and disappear at high speed without even an initial approach “rational” (ie the phone Portal “Terra” in Spain was one of the most striking).
So in a time where even Silicon Valley seems to be in crisis it is time to bring back the concept of business model basing network in principle less “intangibles” and “magic” and more “logical” and “business.
First I would choose to take into account the views of those he called “gurus” of new technologies in the same way that we consider the opinion in private matters of a distant cousin you see once a year and we have always gotten along but which neither we know nothing about him or vice versa. Nothing more instructive to see some erroneous predictions about technology that made some of these great gurus of his time that no one remembers now.
Second, keep in mind that is the market that always sets the tone, is always the customer who else understands the product you want to sell, simply because it decides whether to buy or not, and the market is not neither more nor less than people with some conditions that sometimes mark the time, society and the characteristics and socio-cultural environment in which we live.
Probably the Google concept or social networks in the early Internet had failed as neither the maturity in the design of the first Internet communications, and their small number would have allowed the current expansion and development. So the analysis of “who we want to go and sell our product” has to be realistic and with the greatest burden of common sense possible. And we must take into account that the Internet is not like World Market, at least not from an individual or local structure.
Finally, consider the indicator of the success of our project’s website (and I think in any field) is not telling us how great it is, let the awards we receive (lately it seems that the more prizes you get, the Innovation, Business Young Entrepreneurs, etc …) the less time it takes a company in this sector. Maybe it’s because we can not spend so much time showing the future we want to tackle and showing how great they are our demands without, not even, be assured that our human resources, economic and above all our knowledge and market dominance will us afford. How many times undertaking a project to reach the moon has not even fly.
